Dear Visitor,
First and foremost we thank our Almighty God for giving us the privilege to bring forth the history of BISHOP AZARIAH JUNIOR AND DEGREE COLLEGE.We are happy to say that we completed 29 years and celebrated SILVER JUBILEE.We are so proud to note that 29 batches of students went out of the college.We are grateful to our beloved Bishop The Rt.Rev.Dr.T.George Cornelious Thandri garu for the bestowing us the responsibility of publishing this special edition.
Bishop Azariah Junior College was started by our Bishop Late The Rt.Rev.T.B.D PrakashRao Thandri garu in 1994,August.After the retirement of him Bishop The Rt.Rev.Dr.Govada Dyvasirvadam Thandri garu took charge from 2002-2018.In 2005 full fledged Junior College offered graduation courses like B.A.,B.Com and B.Sc.In 2006 Vocational courses like MPHW,MLT and Physiotheraphy came into exhistance.In 2007 college attached hostels were started.So many village girls of CSI were admitted under the concession fees.They are given full protection and food.So many girls settled in Medical Jobs.Assembly starts with prayer and moral instructions especially from the Bible are given to the students.Our students participate in Curricular,Co-curricular and extra curricular activities.Lab and play ground facilities are there for the students.
Our correspondent Dr.T.Ravi Kumar Garu is encouraging us in developing the college in various aspects. With grateful heart we humbly salute our teaching and non-teaching staff about 20 in number for their untiring work which is evidently seen.The college strength alsoimproved from 100-220 in number results for this year is very encouraging by getting 99%
On this occasion I pay my respects to our beloved Bishop garu The Rt.Rev.Dr.T.George Cornelious Thandri garu,Mrs.Rev.D.Joshua Kumari garu for their effective leadership.We are so happy to inform you that we are given the study hall on the occasion of Silver Jubilee.In this connection I am very glad to say that myself Mrs.K.Sandhya as a principal and Vice Principal Mrs.V.Suneetha completed 29 years service and celebrated Silver Jubilee.We appreciate and thank all those who worked hard to bring out the college in a systematic way and getting good performance.May Our God given us strength and wealth to uplift our college
